Position Summary:

Our office is seeking a Litigation Associate to join our team and assume a role in litigation. The candidate should be motivated to take cases to trial, have expertise in client communication and the ability to multi-task, and be excited to work collaboratively with our team.

Duties include, but are not limited to, performing legal research, drafting of legal memoranda, motions and pleadings, attending court conferences, taking and defending depositions, handling discovery-related activities and investigations, and drafting motions.

Qualifications:

• Candidate should be highly motivated and eager to handle multiple civil litigation cases.
• Must have 5-10 years’ Litigation experience.
• Strong writing and research skills.
• Experience must include taking depositions and managing discovery.
• Experience with Construction law is desired but not required.
• Must be licensed to practice in Louisiana and in good standing.

Our office is now operating onsite with the flexibility to work remotely. Our office is located just North of Baton Rouge in St. Francisville, LA. Health insurance is provided on the first of the month on or following 30 days of full-time employment.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
