Lauren A. Buchanan & Associates is a personal injury law firm based in Naperville, IL that provides effective representation and compassionate guidance to those who are injured throughout Chicago and the greater Chicagoland area.
We are looking for a full-time Associate Attorney to join our team. Prior experience with a personal injury law firm is preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate will be currently licensed to practice law in Illinois; however, recent law school graduates expected to take the upcoming Bar exam will be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Interviewing potential clients.
- Drafting demands and negotiating settlements.
- Client communication.
- Handling all aspects of litigations to include but not limited to filing suit, propounding and answering discovery, motions, attending court, and depositions.
Requirements:
- Currently licensed to practice in Illinois or scheduled to take the upcoming Illinois Bar exam.
- Licensed to practice in Federal Court preferred but not required.
- Excellent writer.
- Ability to work independently.
- Friendly personality and positive attitude.
- Self-motivated and looking to develop a book of business.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, weekends and after hours as needed.
Salary:
- $55,000.00 base.
Benefits:
- Paid time off.
- Fee sharing on cases brought to the firm.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
