The Role
As the Associate Account Manager you will be responsible for amplifying F&P’s product and brands in key accounts through a number of different Sell-Out levers, including but not limited to instore activations, training, merchandising, etc. in the PW/Spokane region.

Account Management
  • Works closely with Key Account and RSM to plan account strategy
  • Manages and cultivates account relationships to leverage growth opportunities Deeply understands account business and environmental influences. Keeps current on changes and best practice that influence retail’s strategic plans and shares this with the Regional Key Account Managers and Regional Sales Managers.
  • Knows the “account makers” and knows the Sales reps who we need to convert on to the brand
  • Ensures a seamless, brand aligned representation of F&P’s brand value proposition is applied to all key accounts. Includes ensuring F&P’s merchandising and brand representation is achieved instore.
  • Works with assigned account customers to drive product sell-out to budget. Gauges customer needs and provides proactive support to drive product sales. Evaluates sell-through data and understands what product is selling on the floor and why. Uses data to set plans for store and diagnoses possible causes for slow moving product.
  • Monitors daily sales performance metrics, and reporting to maximize sell through, revenue and margin.
  • Identifies key outside influencers in the SDA community who shop and send clients to the account and cultivates a relationship with these outside influencers
  • Ensures all activities of the account business is performed in compliance with country, state, and federal regulations and, laws governing business.
  • All other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years’ retail sales experience.
  • Experience in appliance industry highly desirable.
  • Proven capability, with a track record, of successfully increasing sales and margins with key accounts.
  • Proven experience at successfully developing strategic partnerships both externally and internally to deliver quality results.
