Assistant Renovations Coordinator Job at Oakwood Village
Oakwood Village has an exciting opportunity for qualified candidates to join our senior living community facility team as a Assistant Renovation Coordinator . Our Assistant Renovation Coordinator is responsible for receiving and distributing materials for the apartments, meeting with residents to ensure that all their concerns are handled, and demo/removal, painting and installation of lights, plumbing fixtures and appliances.
The Assistant Renovations Coordinator will report directly to the Facilities Services Director.
The Assistant Renovation Coordinator position hours are during normal business hours (8:00am-4:30pm), Full time, 80 hours every two weeks and will travel between our Madison West and Madison East campuses, as needed.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Perform and/or assist with carpentry work, painting, electrical and plumbing duties as required
2. Keep Director and coordinator abreast of renovation project progress by providing regular updates
3. Install new appliances, electrical fixtures, cabinetry, etc.
4. Help facilitate resident communications with renovation coordinator and assist in processing modification forms
5. Perform all other duties assigned by renovations coordinator (or other personnel acting in a supervisory capacity)
6. Needs to have high energy for a fast paced position
QUALIFICATIONS
1. General understanding of basic repair on electric, plumbing, painting and carpentry
2. Effective communication skills, both verbal and in writing.
3. Must exhibit excellent customer service skills.
4. Must have experience in Microsoft Office products
5. Must have clean driving record
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND/OR TRAINING
1. Prefer 5 years experience in building construction, maintenance or renovations
2. Highschool diploma or equivalent
