Skills/Knowledge/Responsibilities (Required)

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent plus work experience with references.

Project Management

· Planning, executing, monitoring and controlling projects in order to meet requirements while controlling budget, scope, and timeline.

· Cost estimation, scheduling, and organization.

· Experience handling a project as it moves through production stages from pre-planning to closeout.

Construction

· Experience in the construction or renovation of buildings, utilities, roads or other civil, commercial or residential infrastructure.

· Experience with estimating the cost and time of a demolition or construction project to aid in the bidding process. Individuals may also specialize in a particular building material or project type.

· Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints including civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing and electrical drawings.

· Experience related to planning and managing construction projects and processes such as scheduling, budgeting or ensuring compliance.

Other

· Can effectively exchange and understand information, verbally or in writing.

· Able to manage time in order to complete tasks quickly and efficiently.

· Valid driver’s license required to travel to public bid openings, pre-bid meetings and other when needed.

Skills/Knowledge (Preferred)

· Familiarity with one or more project management methodologies like Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, Kanban or PMP.

· Knowledge of Sage Construction and Real Estate Management Software.

· Experience coordinating timelines by which a project's tasks, milestones, or deliverables are met, with proficiency in Microsoft Project.

· Experience related to planning and managing information technology projects and processes.

Architectural Design

· Designing buildings to create unique and well-organized structures.

· Vision, drawing up small scale commercial and residential plans and modifying their designs throughout the building process to maximize structural integrity.

· Work with developer to determine objectives and requirements for structures.

· Prepare documents and scaled drawings, either with computer software or by hand for development projects.

· Able to use computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) and building information modeling (BIM) for creating designs and construction drawings.

· Ability to field measure and verify job space using modern industry tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
