JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for energetic, hands-on Assistant Managers for Breakfast Republic La Jolla. Seeking candidates who are able to lead and work alongside their team and support the GM in day to day operations. Managers are expected to take a small section during the shift.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Cultivates a strategic team environment that provides exceptional customer service while ensuring all staff members perform at a consistently high level.

Assures execution of staff training programs.

Leads and influences staff through effective motivation, leveraging individual strengths to ensure customer satisfaction and maximum productivity.

Ensures execution of all employee recognition and incentive programs as documented

Promotes positive employee relations including effective delegation of managerial duties, fostering high staff morale, upholding operation standards, and execution of the performance management process.

Maintain systems which insure overall fiscal responsibility for inventory, etc.

Set store goals by period and hold managers accountable for setting and meeting departmental goals

Guests: Consistently meet the standard for the guest experience

Actively participates in succession planning by developing promotable people

Requirements:

Must be able to lift 40lbs

Must be able to stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Must be able to go up and down stairs throughout the shift
