Locally owned Home Health Agency in Oklahoma City, currently has an opening for an Assistant Director of Nursing, who will work directly with the Director of Nursing. We are looking for a RN with previous case management and nursing supervisory experience that possesses leadership qualities.

The Assistant Director of Nursing will act as a liaison between the Director of Nursing and clinical staff to ensure communication and implementation of all agency programs. This position requires a person that is very organized and methodical, and that is able to work within a very fast paced work environment. Scheduling and Kinnser experience a plus.

The ADON will:

1. Participate in orientation of the clinical staff regarding Medicare Conditions of Participation and relevant requirements for care and documentation and provide education during the orientation in the timeliness of paperwork.

2. Educate and assist clinicians regarding questions, documentation, and other related documents.

3. Communicate with incoming calls from patients and relay necessary information.

4. Liaison between all clinical disciplines- SN, PT, OT, ST, MSW, CHHA

5. Input/write orders into Kinnser.

6. Hospital and facility tracking.

7. Monitor labs.

8. Maintaining medical supply inventory and ordering.

*Must have a minimum of 3 years recent experience in the home health industry, within the last 5 years. Sorry, other candidates cannot be considered at this time.

*Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to assist in the oversight of clinical staff.
