The Personal Care Aide I is a person who provides nutritional and environmental support functions to an
individual in their home.
Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities
Must be fully vaccinated or be willing to complete full vaccination by date of hire and proof of vaccination will be required. If permitted by state law, the company will consider requests for religious or medical exemptions.

Essential Functions:
Job Summary
The Personal Care Aide I is a person who provides nutritional and environmental support functions to an
individual in their home.
Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Reports any unusual circumstance in client’s condition or home environment to supervisor timely.
- Follows written paraprofessional assignment to provide nutritional and environmental support functions, such as: making and changing bed linens; dusting and vacuuming rooms; light cleaning of kitchen, bedroom, andbathroom; dishwashing; shopping; laundry; assisting with bill paying or other errands on behalf of the client; and preparing meals.
- Utilizes Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) program as applicable including documenting all client related activities and tasks timely.
- Maintains client confidentiality, adheres to agency policies and procedures, and participates on agency performance improvement activities, performs all other duties as assigned.
- Drives safely, complies with traffic regulations, and wears a seatbelt when business travel is required.
Experience Desired
- Six months experience in personal care or home community based services preferred.
License Requirements
- Current driver's license, vehicle insurance and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
- Current CPR certification required (Kentucky, Tennessee, Wisconsin only)
