Assembler – Handy Lifts

Department: Assembly

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly

Job Status: Full-Time

Schedule: M-Th – 6am – 4:30pm, overtime as requested on Fridays

POSITION SUMMARY

Assemble Handy products and accessories, and package and prepare them for delivery to customers. The goal of the Assembly team is to strive for efficiency and accuracy to create superior end products for our customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Follow standard work instructions to identify parts that go into each assembly.

Use small hand/powder tools to assemble parts and accessories.

Operate hoist.

Identify correct labels and manuals to include.

Package and box products and accessories.

Count and maintain appropriate level of parts inventory.

Perform inspections and document as required.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: High School Diploma/GED

Experience: Metal fabrication environment with shop floor experience is a plus

Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of computers is helpful
