1st Shift Cable Assembler

As a key member of the production team, The Cable Assembler will use math skills to perform basic assembly and other functions like, Stripping, Plugging, Shrink Tubing, applying labels, and use of simple harness boards with a focus on safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement. The Cable Assembler will follow standard procedures to efficiently produce high quality products in a timely manner. This position is also accountable for inspection of goods, and documenting results.
Pay:
· $16.00 to $17.00
· performance review after first 90 days
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday
- 1st shift 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Occasional overtime on Saturdays
Skills & Abilities:
· Fast learner: Quicky process and implement new teachings in order to be self-sufficient.
· Attention to Detail: Accurately read work orders to ensure the correct specifications are met for completed product.
· Time Management: Utilize working hours to meet production deadlines and complete customers orders in a timely manner.
· Adaptability: As a key member of The Production team, actively contribute to our culture of continuous improvement.
· Teamwork: Work with co-workers on big orders to ensure completion of the product for the customer.
· Safety Protocol: Willingness to Follow all safety rules, including use of Personal Protective Equipment including hearing and eye protection, and safety shoes.
Environment & Physical Abilities:
- Comfortable working in a loud environment
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Ability to stand 20% of the time
- ability to sit 65% of the time
