Hillsboro Asphalt Plant – Rogers Group Inc – Hillsboro, TN

Full Time, Temporary – Regular scheduled week of Sunday night to Friday Morning

Night Shift: approximate shift times of 5pm to 6am

Wages starting at $18.00/hr. for entry level candidates. Some positions require no experience and Rogers Group will train .

Rogers Group is currently seeking candidates to fill an ASPHALT PLANT LABORER position for our Hillsboro Asphalt Plant, located in Hillsboro, TN. This position will work to support night-time paving operations for interstate paving work from the asphalt plant. The successful candidate for this role will be self-motivated and have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.

• Primary duties will include cleaning truck beds, and making sure they tarp and strap covers across loaded beds when hauling OGFC.
• Feed fiber into fiber machine – including operating a fork lift to unload fiber from trailer.
• General support and clean-up around the asphalt plant, if needed, general maintenance of plant and equipment, and utilizing heavy equipment in performing jobs and moving materials around the plant, as needed.

This position is temporary and will work through completion of interstate paving work – estimated to begin in mid-May and conclude between end of June and end of August. Potential for permanent, full-time employment is available, depending on fit and willingness of candidate to work with asphalt paving, or base stone construction.

• Able to perform a variety of duties, some which may include Plant Clean-up, Maintenance, Operating Heavy Equipment and Machinery.
• Ability to work in a variety of conditions.
• Willing to work weekends and long hours when needed.
• Willing to be flexible when called upon to perform other assignments or to assist in other areas at the discretion of management.
