CalColor Academy Seeking: A Full-Time Art Teacher

CalColor Academy is looking for passionate candidates to join our team and become a part of the Best art education for children in the Bay Area. We're seeking Cheerful, Confident, and Creative art teachers, with a passion for teaching and working with children. CalColor Academy is the largest Art School of the Bay Area, with 5 locations at Fremont, Mountain View, Cupertino, Newark, and San Jose, with over 2200 students from 4 to 18 years old.

Our programs are recognized for their unique approach to maintaining a fun learning process, encouraging kids' creativity while teaching them solid technical skills.

Our team is a group of young artists with a passion for teaching children art. All art teachers will have the opportunity to become full-time employees, branch managers, and school business partners.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The ideal candidate is energetic, enthusiastic as well as warm, and caring. CalColor teachers are comfortable engaging groups of children while taking command of a room. Teachers will follow curriculum plans, teach classes, provide parents communications and maintain the classroom.

TEACHER SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS

• Great Communication Skills: Classroom, individual, phone
• Group facilitation skills
• Cheerful and energetic teaching style
• BA/MA or related degree in Art or Art Education degree
• Strong work ethic
• Experience working with young children a plus
• Customer service/sales experience a plus

COMPENSATION AND BENEFIT

We provide extensive training to all art teachers to help you grow. Training is paid but at a lesser rate.

Compensation is competitive and depends on experience (DOE).

Benefit: We offer health insurance, paid time off, and 401k for Full-Time teachers.'
