Job Summary:

Detail-oriented CAD Drafter to provide accurate and timely construction drawings for a production oriented custom home builder. Draft new and custom homes using our back-office drafting software to our drafting standards. Adhere to our internal drafting schedule and meet or exceed weekly and monthly goals.

Job Responsibilities:

· Draft custom homes through a BIM / CADD drafting program (SoftPlan).

· Drafting/Estimate base plans and maintain a base house / price library.

· Drafting/Estimate standard options and maintain a standard option / price library.

· Our estimating is a function of our drafting program so all candidates will need to have basic to advanced drafting skills using a CADD program and be willing to learn estimating as needed.

Qualifications:

· Preferred candidate will have relevant work experience in the Architectural Drafting Field with emphasis on Residential Drafting and Estimating, be detail oriented, have strong math and computer skills, and be experienced in Microsoft product suite.

· Associates or Bachelor’s degrees in architectural, drafting, or construction related fields of study will also be considered.

· Solid understanding of how a house is built and basic construction knowledge.

· Positive and professional demeanor.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to work as a team player.

Salary: The salary for this position is commensurate with experience.
