Maxor has an opportunity for an Application Systems Analyst I to join a dynamic software development team. This is a Level 2 product application support role working with the different technical and non-technical teams to analyze application issues and manage the resolution of the issues. Resolution may require interfacing with vendors or engaging Level 3/Development and providing findings and details toward resolution of requests or issues. This position also requires coordinating incident management activities.
Ideal for candidates with 1-2 years software development experience looking for an opportunity to grow and be part of a team focused on production application support. Support includes configuration changes that are performed mainly through SQL database updates.

This is a remote-based position where you may work from your home office.

- Analyzing application requests/issues and working with the technical and no-technical teams on solutions
- Facilitation of meetings with stakeholders for application updates/new solutions
- Documenting requirements for application updates /new solutions
- Implementing configuration changes for applications
- Scripting SQL for database updates
- Prioritizing requests
- Managing IT incidents
- Performing root cause analysis for outages
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science Business Management, or similar discipline from an accredited college or university. Or combination of education and experience.
Experience:
- 1-2 years directly related to the duties and responsibilities of the position.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and debugging skills
- Strong knowledge of current technologies
- Ability to work with users and document solutions.
- Experience troubleshooting application issues
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
- Knowledge of SQL Server and Windows Administration
- Experience with SQL – Ability to write queries to perform analysis, as well as data updates
- Knowledge of PowerShell
- Ability to follow through on commitments.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
