Trane Technologies, the global leader in innovative climate solutions for a sustainable world, is seeking an Application Engineer for our Trane business in Rochester, NY. As an Application Engineer, you’ll build customer relationships to foster trust, discover needs, and offer effective solutions. This is a HYBRID role in Rochester, NY.

Responsibilities:

• Convert leads into opportunities by assigning the appropriate sales process, identifying the required sales team members, making assignments, and communicating the next steps in the process.
• Assist customers in answering technical questions about HVAC systems, Trane products, and relevant industry issues.
• Consistently ascertain customer needs and current market opportunities. Assemble and coordinate acquisition team as needed for customers and projects.
• Assist in project estimating with our Estimating Team to develop proposals for our customers
• Collaborate with our Customers and Account Managers on project execution
• Grow our ductless and VRF market share

Qualifications:

• Will consider recent graduates or experienced candidate
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High energy, fast paced environment
• Interested in growing a career in sales!

Salary: $60,000 - $100,000 base salary, plus incentive
