Objective: Pipestone is growing! We are seeking a seasoned application developer to help with the support of existing internally developed solutions as well as the creation of new ones. The Application Developer II is responsible for understanding, maintaining, creating, and implementing technology solutions to meet the application, analytics, and data mining business requirements supporting Pipestone's products and services. This position will be responsible for working closely with business users and other internal IT staff as well as external consultants to complete projects under high levels of responsibility and autonomy.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

Essential Functions:

• Proven technical knowledge of Information Technology field and computer systems.
• Hardworking and driven individual with desire to improve personally and professionally.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Experience using Python, VB.NET, C# and SQL.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerApps platform is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting abilities to understand the source of problems and the effective critical thinking to outline solutions
• Software and analytics experience with the ability to provide technical support and training to employees.

Other Responsibilities:

• Mentor junior IT/Developer staff
• Assist with the creation and implementation of departmental and organizational processes and procedures as they pertain to IT activities and responsibilities

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Relevant certifications preferred but not required
• Strongly prefer 3+ years of relevant experience but exceptions could be made for the right candidate
• General knowledge of business, finance or accounting is a plus

• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation to get to work and attend meetings
