As Apartment Building Cleaner, you play an integral role in supporting both residents and leasing staff. A well-maintained property creates an exceptional living environment for our tenants and makes them proud to call our properties home.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following description of work to be performed by this individual is not intended to be all-inclusive. Rather, it focuses on the major tasks that must be accomplished. There are many necessary activities to satisfy any of the following performance guidelines.

Daily Activities

• Vacuum all common area carpets, including edges, elevator slide, stairs, etc.
• Empty garbage cans in/around building, including ashtrays & pet waste stations
• Clean glass entry doors, side lights, and office, windows
• Dust tops of doors, windows, windowsills, fire extinguishers, artwork, sprinklers, cameras, mini splits, wall sconces, light fixtures, railings, & ledges
• Pick up all trash from yards, parking lots, and garages and deposit in dumpster including cigarette butts
• Clean up any messes seen elsewhere
• Change light bulbs and sconce covers as needed
• Take note of any maintenance items and report to maintenance
• Watch for tenants with unauthorized animals, smoking in unauthorized areas, placing large items near dumpsters, not picking up poo, damaging building, or any other infraction
• Pull weeds from gardens

Schedule: 5 days a week, 8 hour shift

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Preferred 2 years experience cleaning commercial or multi-family buildings

Other Requirements

• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
• Must pass criminal background check
• Valid driver’s license & reliable vehicle with insurance
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Detail oriented

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
