Schedule: Monday - Friday, 190 Days per School Year
Salary: This professional position follows the Collective Bargaining Agreement, starting at Master's, Step 1($53,947)
PURPOSE OF POSITION
The successful candidate will provide consultation, collaboration, assessment, and monitoring services for the CAIU and/or district designated students, their families, and the staff who support them. In addition, the successful candidate will support intakes, lead and organize professional development, and facilitate ongoing colleague collaboration and peer to peer case consultation. The successful candidate will help students benefit from their educational program and provide information and support to the multidisciplinary team and may provide counseling/instruction (individual and group).
KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Education Required: Masters' Degree in Social Work is required. PA Social Work license is required.
Experience Required/Preferred: Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with children preferred; experience as a Social Worker working with children given preference.
Other Qualifications: Full certification in Safe Crisis Management (SCM), Safety Care, or other restraint management system as required by assignment
