Summary:

Reporting to Chief Development Officer coordinates and implements annual giving and stewardship programs for Bradley Hospital.

Participates in development of annual giving strategies goals and priorities. Manages portfolio of prospects; solicits individual annual giving donors. Identifies annual giving constituents for collaboration with or transfer to major gift prospect management. In coordination with systemwide annual giving strategy collaborates on direct mail projects giving societies in tandem with individual annual giving for the hospital. Works with Lifespan system-wide annual giving staff to maximize results inclusive of list review prospect identification and active moves management. Assumes responsibility for systems tracking and tactical program management for unrestricted gifts that provide a pipeline of donors for the hospital’s major planned and campaign giving.

Creates and implements donor stewardship activities and programs including working with clinicians and staff to identify appropriate stories for stewardship publications and direct mail solicitations coordination/production of cultivation and affiliate specific stewardship events inclusive of annual meetings. Participates in all hospital development activities including third party events and signature events.

Ensures activities support the individual hospital branding and are consistent with the overarching Lifespan message.

Experience and Educational Requirements:

Equivalent to bachelor’s degree in business administration communication or related field.

Five years related professional experience in development field including experience in individual gift cultivation stewardship and solicitation as well as history of success in annual giving program implementation preferably in a healthcare. Experience with donor database and pipeline tracking, preferably Raisers Edge. Experience must demonstrate high level of oral and written communication skills.
