Our organization is looking for an AmeriCorps VISTA servicemeber to join our team as a Volunteer & Community Engagement Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing volunteers, as well as developing and implementing volunteer programs. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to think strategically and creatively to develop new initiatives. The Volunteer & Community Engagement Coordinator will also be responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with local businesses and organizations to increase community engagement and strategic partnerships. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement volunteer recruitment and retention plans.
• Develop and manage volunteer training programs.
• Develop and manage volunteer recognition programs.
• Develop and manage volunteer policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure volunteers are utilized effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of volunteer hours worked.
• Provide support to volunteers in their roles.
• Work with community organizations to identify potential volunteers.
