Air Export Coordinator Position - Full & P/T Available

We are an International freight forwarding company in the Pacific Northwest. We are located conveniently near the South Center mall in Tukwila, WA.

The position requires no previous experience but a willingness to learn is necessary. Be a good team player with detailed and strong organizational skills. Being technically proficient with a computer and office programs will be helpful. You will maintain relationship with customers through mostly emails so basic communication/writing skills are required.

While you can be a full-time employee, we are also open to having part-time positions where you can choose your hours depending on the role and other factors. We will work with you to help work around your schedule if you are the right fit.

Requirements:

Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic data entry programs

Bilingual in Chinese is beneficial but not required.

Previous experience in logistics or freight forwarding is welcome.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the movement of our customer’s air export shipments
• You will be the main point of contact for coordination between customer’s shipment exports, airlines and logistics carriers
• Completes coordination between all applicable parties for all air export shipments for our customers; ensures timely bookings with airline on customer behalf
• Prepares export documentation in accordance to country requirements as well as the preparation of Certificate of Origin, Cargo Manifest, Airway Bill and any other documents required by the customer
• Compliant filing of AES (automated electronic system) export customs
• Communicates regularly with customer in regards to customer’s shipment status as well as continuous communication with overseas to meet delivery commitments; follow-up with airline to monitor and track departure and arrival information and updates
• Ensures invoicing of rendered services is completed accurately and in a timeframe consistent with company policy
• Ensure customer profiles are accurate and updated
