Agile Software Architect Job at Applied Research Solutions
Applied Research Solutions is seeking an Agile Software Architect supporting the Air Combat Command (ACC)/A2 Intelligence Directorate located at Langley AFB, VA.
Responsibilities Include:
Employ knowledge of and experience with software, hardware, and network engineering and architecture to advise and assist ACC staff on software lifecycle management (development, integration, fielding, and sustainment) is support of Air Force intelligence operations
Assist ACC A2 in the effective development, delivery, and integration of software capabilities using a set of engineering-based, disciplined, and consistent analytic and technical management processes
Support ACC A2's development and sustainment of an ACC-approved enterprise architecture to enable Agile capability integration and deployment
Collaborate with government agencies and academia to explore applicability and adaptability of current and future software- and data-centric technology to Air Force intelligence operations
Interface with internal and external stakeholders to advise ACC A2 on commonly used standards, platforms, methodologies, and application program interfaces used for Agile software development
Collaborate with development and test engineers, enterprise architects, data scientists, requirements managers, and program/project managers to shape requirements and solutions for operational needs
Identify, track, test, integrate, and evaluate the integration of existing and emerging technologies into the Air Force intelligence enterprise
Assist ACC A2 with research and development of software, hardware, and networking capabilities to enable integration of emerging technologies into comprehensive cloud infrastructure, backbone architectures, and computing resources
Capture ACC OT&E and ACC A2 business processes, discover gaps and obstacles that inhibit the achievement of capability development objectives, and translate awareness into organizational, procedural, and technological solutions with stakeholders
Assist ACC A2 with development of holistic understanding of Agile software development concepts and processes and how to integrate Agile concepts, practices, and technology into ACC A2 business operations

Qualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen
- Security Clearance Required: Top Secret clearance with SCI Eligibility
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Network Engineering with 10+ years’ overall experience developing, testing, and employing data-centric software solutions for DoD intelligence operations
- Strong technical writing experience/skills
- Strongly proficient in Agile software development practices
- Deep fluency with data science principles and techniques and how they are leveraged to innovate capabilities for DoD intelligence personnel and their operational customers
