Agile Execution Lead Job at TIAA
Agile Execution Lead is responsible for overseeing and driving business agility by successful implementation of agile methodologies and execution of large-scale Lean Agile portfolio within the Retirement, Marketing & Digital Client (RMDC) Technology group while integrating with organizational Agile practices. This leader will drive a mindset of Agile across business and technology teams, develop skillset of Agile execution principles and practices, and deploy toolset to deliver on business outcomes. Managing both technical and cultural change that arises from “Agile way of working” will be critical to this role’s success.

- Develop and implement strategies for the successful implementation and adoption of agile mindset, skillset, and toolset within the RMDC Technology group and across impacted business stakeholders
- Design, shape, and monitor a large Agile portfolio of strategic and business-as-usual initiatives leveraging Lean Agile framework
- Establish, monitor, report, and track impactful metrics to measure maturity, adoption, acceleration, and effectiveness for continuous improvement
- Conduct / organize Agile training for executives, managers and leaders, Agile teams, and specialty roles such as Product Owner, Product Manager, Scrum Master, and Release Train Engineers
- Integrate Agile outcomes with defined business case to articulate benefits and ROI
- Collaborate with senior technology leadership to align agile goals with overall business objectives
- Help define and launch Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and related resourcing within respective technology teams
- Leading and facilitating critical events like Program Increment (PI) Planning and Inspect and Adapt (I&A)
- Foster SAFe Communities of Practice (CoPs), communicate progress, implement Lean-Agile focus days with industry perspectives, develop internal case studies, conduct benchmarking and connect with the external Agile communities to drive best practices
- Promote Lean-Agile education and extend Lean-Agile practices to other areas of the company, including Lean Budgets, Lean Portfolio Management, Business, Finance, and Human Resources
- Work closely with Lean Agile Center of Excellence team and other technology groups to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans for addressing them
- Facilitate regular agile meetings and retrospectives

Preferred Skills
- Extensive hands-on experience with agile methodologies, including SAFe, LACE, Scrum, Kanban and other Agile frameworks
- Strong leadership and coaching skills for technical and cultural transformation to drive Agile execution
- Skilled at using Agile tools – JIRA align, Rally, Confluence
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities
- Ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable insights
- Demonstrated success in implementing and improving agile processes in a corporate setting
- Knowledge of agile metrics and techniques for measuring agile effectiveness
- Financial Services experience preferred
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
