Footprints to Recovery is seeking staff who are sales-oriented and have a passion for helping people. This position answers all incoming calls, and fields all incoming referrals to Footprints to Recovery’s facilities. You will be responsible for qualifying potential clients, assisting in helping clients/families understand the process of treatment, and educating them on our treatment facilities. You will be responsible for walking clients through the process from the initial phone call to admission to our facilities and explaining necessary finances / insurance benefits required for admission. This role needs to be filled by someone who has the ability to engage clients/families, has a sense of empathy, and is sales-oriented.


Job Duties:

  • The Admissions Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Admissions. This is a full-time position (40+ hours a week) with on-call shifts 1-2 nights a week. This position must be available for company emergencies when needed, after-hours.
  • Answering inbound phone calls from people who are seeking substance abuse/alcohol treatment for themselves or a loved one. Must be able to speak to clients and/or families during times of crisis and offer a solution.
  • Financial Conversation – Establishing a relationship with client and client’s guarantor, must be able to discuss client financial responsibility, and all necessary information from guarantor to draft agreements, finalizing payment agreements, processing of payments.
  • Be efficient at explaining insurance benefits to a client and/or family and assist with their understanding of this information.
  • Maintain good relationships with outside medical facilities to guarantee a smooth transfer of patients.
  • Complete pre-screen assessments and be efficient at relaying this information to the Director of Admissions to help determine a client’s appropriateness for our programs.


Qualifications

  • Proper telephone etiquette.
  • Empathy and compassion towards individuals struggling with substance use / alcohol use disorders.
  • Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications: (Salesforce, Microsoft Word, Outlook.)
  • 1-2 years of admissions and/or sales experience preferred.
  • Proven sales background.
  • Professionalism in all facets of communication.
  • Ability to work under a high-stress environment.
  • Call center experience or multi-line phone system experience preferred.
  • Dependability / Honesty / Integrity.
