Primary function is for the overall administration of the clinical departments and monitoring of appropriate staffing and productivity. Job Description:
The Director of Nurses is a registered professional nurse who ensures quality of patient care in the home. Primary function is for the overall administration of the clinical departments and monitoring of appropriate staffing and productivity. Coordinates care with the interdisciplinary team, patient/family, and referring agency.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing
- Be a registered nurse (RN) licensed in Texas or in accordance with the Board of Nurse Examiners rules for Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Current Texas Driver's License
- Minimum of one year experience as a registered nurse obtained within the last 36 months
- One Year of experience in home health care preferred
- Management experience preferred
- Nursing skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively
- Demonstrates proven decision making skills
- Must read, write and comprehend English
- Reliable transportation, valid and current auto insurance is required
- 1+ years experience as a RN with management experience
- BSN degree or five years of equivalent management experience required
- Clean background and drug screen
- Semi-monthly pay periods - Direct Deposit
