Role/Responsibilities
- Provide executive level administrative support with strong focus on calendar management, travel coordination and absorption of administrative tasks; uses initiative to relieve manager of detail work.
- Liaises with support groups – i.e., Human Resources, Building Services, Technology
- Handles a wide variety of complex situations and resolves conflicts constructively.
- Handles confidential and time sensitive material in an appropriate manner.
- Review and approve office supply and technology related requisitions.
- Organizes and prioritizes multiple tasks and completes them under time constraints.
- Coordinate and plan department-wide events including group meetings, off-sites, outings and receptions taking care to stay within prescribed budget.
Qualifications
- 10+ years related experience working in a corporate environment
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet navigation and research.
- Advanced Knowledge of PeopleSoft
- Excellent organization, follow-up and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and phone manner
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills – ability to convey thoughts clearly and succinctly and, when required, to present before a group.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities
- Maturity – ability to handle highly confidential matters with discretion
- Ability to interact comfortably and effectively with Senior Management
- Excellent judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently
