Administrative Assistant - Equipment Plant Job at Crafco
Crafco, Inc. has an opening for an Administrative Assistant at our Chandler, AZ equipment manufacturing plant.
Come join our team! The Administrative Assistant is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, assisting with day to day administrative duties. Main functions include assisting managers with various projects and activities of the production facility, letter and memo preparation, filing, greeting customers, answering and directing calls, maintaining various files, correspondence records and managing the petty cash account.

General Duties:
- Accumulating all picklist, travelers and paperwork from Equipment Manufacturing, making necessary corrections and the input of the data into the computer system.
- Assist managers in development of forms and charts. Assist in organizing and detailing the various functions and activities of the production facility.
- Keep record of machine serial numbers. Create Machine serial number tags and battery warranty card.
- Answer incoming phone calls, direct all communication, phone calls, mail, messages to the appropriate people in a professional manner.
- Type and prepare letters, memos, forms and reports as directed by Equipment management.
- Maintain data files for various reports and files of individual correspondence.
- Prepare various report and forward to appropriate area. These reports include weekly and monthly production summaries and plant petty cash reconciliation.
- Coordinate with outside vending companies when problems arise. Reimburse employees, and report shortages to vending company.
- Greet and assist all visitors to the appropriate areas or persons, issue safety glasses and guest passes as required.
- Responsible for all business machines for Equipment facility. Fax, printers and scanners to insure they are operating properly.
- Keep maintenance contract and contact information accurate. Schedule all service and maintenance as needed.
Qualifications:
- A minimum 1-3 years administrative experience is required
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional and positive demeanor
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with co-workers and customers
- Self-directed, with time management skills and ability to work with little supervision
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite applications and basic data processing required
- Must possess a High School diploma or GED
