Job Purpose
Perform a variety of administrative support activities related to office management, facilities, and human resources in the Sioux Falls facility.
Essential Duties
  • Provide outstanding customer service to internal and external customers. Serve as the front desk point-of-contact to assist employees, answer phone, and greet and direct visitors.
  • Conduct first day new employee welcome orientation.
  • Assist employees with questions relating to company benefits and wellness programs.
  • Review security camera footage and assist with investigating issues.
  • Maintain employee badges and vending program cards.
  • Distribute mail. Process invoices. Track contractor insurance required documentation.
  • Manage company-sponsored events and activities, including, but not limited to: employee picnic, volunteer events, onsite wellness screenings, service anniversary celebrations, retirement parties, holiday meals, employee gifts, flower purchases, baby gifts, etc.
  • Manage uniforms, locker assignments, safety glasses, and safety shoe programs for employees.
  • Order office supplies, meals, business cards, nameplates, safety supplies, etc.
  • Serve on Safety Committee and perform required safety audits. Record meeting minutes.
  • Manage employee skills testing in areas of math, blueprint, and Machinist promotional requirements.
  • Facilitate employee recognition program.
  • Ensure appropriate application of policies and procedures.

Position Requirements
High school diploma or GED required.
Three or more years of experience in an administrative capacity in an office setting.
Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills. High attention to detail.
Comfortable working with deadlines and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office knowledge including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with Workday preferred. Ability to learn software programs utilized by Graco.
