Boise Cascade has an opening for an Administrative Assistant to support our Corporate Human Resources (HR) team. The successful candidate will be detail oriented, enjoy problem solving and relationship-building. This role will work out of our Corporate HQ offices in Boise, ID and has some potential for remote work. Come grow with us!

You will:

  • Perform administrative support functions for the staff in our Corporate Human Resources team.
  • Complete, organize and coordinate data, information, and activities for the functional areas.
  • Ability to learn specific functional area processes, procedures, products, policies and programs (i.e. privileged communications, compliance oriented processes/filings, etc.)
  • Duties may include: calendar management; compiling information, writing, editing, proofreading documents and reports; answering mail and phone inquiries; processing invoices; scheduling or planning meetings or events; making travel arrangements; completing expense reports; filing and data entry; maintaining office inventories and supplies, etc.
  • Responsive to internal and external customer needs.
  • Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement through the mindset and cultivation of Agile practices and principles.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Basic

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years of experience in related job function
  • Excels at use of MS Office Suite – Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Previous use of HR Information software systems (e.g., UKG, Workday, ICIMS, etc.)
