Bryant University, a nationally recognized leader in higher education, is currently recruiting for Adjunct teaching opportunities in History for the spring 2023 semester. Classes meet at our campus in Smithfield, RI. The fall semester starts Thursday, January 26th.

We are seeking adjunct faculty for the following courses:
- HIS 250 Emergence of Europe 1000-1500 TR 9:30-10.45
- HIS 252 Europe 1500-1815 MWF 10-10:50
- HIS 252 Europe 1500-1815 MWF 12-12:50
- HIS 262 History of the US since 1865 MWF 11-11:50
- HIS 262 History of the US since 1865 MF 2-3:15
- HIS 272 Intro to Latin American History TR 2-3:15
- HIS 373 History of Modern Africa MWF 9-9:50
Days and times tentative and subject to possible modification.
This position includes teaching at the undergraduate level as well as contributing to student growth and development through active involvement in student related co-curricular activities.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree (Master’s, ABD or Doctorate) in History or a closely related field.
- Teaching experience preferred.
- Based on University procedures, adjunct faculty are typically limited to teaching no more than two classes per semester.
