Positions in this function support the C&S Medicaid reserving team by performing month end financial evaluations and investigate key business problems through quantitative analyses. This position supports additional monthly and annual processes and other ad-hoc requests as appropriate.

The preferred office locations for this position are Minnetonka, MN; New York, NY; Horsham, PA; or Hartford, CT. Telecommuters will also be considered.

Primary Responsibilities:

• 
  Analyze and interpret quantitative data to identify key drivers of healthcare trends
• 
  Use various reserving methodologies to set monthly reserves
• 
  Effectively communicate results across multiple business units (Finance, Accounting, Actuarial, etc.)
• 
  Manage and prioritize ad hoc project requests
• 
  Utilize predictive modeling to enhance monthly reserving process
• 
  Participate in the Actuarial Leadership Development Program (ALDP)

Required Qualifications:

• 
  Undergraduate degree or equivalent years of experience
• 
  On the Actuarial exam track, having passed 3 or more Actuarial exams
• 
  4+ years of Actuarial experience
• 
  Advanced or higher level of proficiency with Excel
•

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600.
