Pay rate starts at $19.24/hour. This position works a hybrid schedule on-site here in York with remote flexibility.

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for routine day-to-day accounts receivable collections and general clerical duties.

JOB SUMMARY
1. Collections of delinquent AR accounts
2. Collaborates with Sales Team on account status
3. Recommends the placement of accounts with 3rd party agency
4. Identify and bring discrepancies to the attention of AR Manager
5. Process credit card payments
6. Act as a backup to receive, sort and process customer payments
7. Assist with customer deductions
8. Assist with EDI billing

EXPECTATIONS
1. High School diploma with 1-2 business experience, Associate’s degree in Business or Accounting a plus
2. Minimum of 3 years customer service/call center or credit & returns experience preferred
3. Strong analytical and problem solving skills with accounting or bookkeeping skills a plus
4. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel preferred), specifically spreadsheet applications
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
