The Accounts Receivable/Credit Administrator will have extensive interaction with the ifm customer base when fulfilling their primary responsibility of reviewing the creditworthiness of current and prospective customers.

Position Responsibilities

• Analyzes the creditworthiness of current and prospective ifm customers and either extending credit or making recommendation on credit extension to Controller within established guidelines.
• Release blocked orders in ifm’s ERP system (SAP).
• Run credit agency Dunn & Bradstreet reports when required.
• Processes new customer credit applications and trade references.
• Entering invoices and other required documents into e-invoicing portals.
• Utilizing the AR Aging Report to contact customers to collect on past due balances.
• Make recommendations for past due accounts to be sent to ifm’s collection Agency (DAL) and process all required documentation.
• Research Sales and Use Tax discrepancies and correct as appropriate with SAP.
• Resolve complex customer account discrepancies that can not be resolved by the Customer Engagement team.
• Process customer refund requests.
• Process customer payments utilizing the Wells Fargo Payment Gateway credit card processing system or e-Bill Express.
• Work on miscellaneous customer account projects as assigned by the Controller.

Candidate Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Accounting with a background in Credit/Collections.
• Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office products and ERP system experience (SAP preferred but not required) and CRM system experience (SalesForceDotCom preferred but not required).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with close attention to detail.
• Self-driven with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and administrative skills
