Summary:

Noritz is looking for an Accounts Receivable professional to join our Operations Team at Facilities Resource Group in Comstock Park MI. Responsibilities include accounting tasks in various disciplines such as Accounts Receivable, Credit, Tax, and Reporting in a fast-paced environment. Understanding and application of key accounting principles while working collaboratively with customer and team members are essential to this position.

Primary Job Duties

Accounts Receivable:

  • Process and issue invoices, statements, and credit memos to customers
  • Collect and process payments and resolves debits from customers
  • Respond to customer requests for invoices, credits or other information
  • Run Aging Report
  • Update process completion in multiple databases

Reporting & Other:

  • Support period-end closing by creating or updating various reports
  • Maintain filing and document retention

Secondary Duties

  • Coordinate other administrative activities including postage and post office
  • Seek out efficient and cost-effective ways to improve work processes
  • Research and develop resources to create timely and efficient workflow
  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned by senior management

Qualifications:

Accounting or business degree or a minimum one-year related accounting/finance experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, decimals, percentages, ratios, discounts, interest, commissions and proportions to practical situations with ease

Computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP function); Microsoft Word; Accounting software (Quickbooks, Microsoft Dynamics AX, NetSuite); other programs (CRM, SAP Concur, Sharepoint)
