We are seeking a full time Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Accounts Payable team.

This position is responsible for processing invoices, including those from outside vendors, internal check requests, and credit card payments, in a timely manner. The position also reviews and resolves any discrepancies in the credit card statements. In addition, this position serves as a backup to the Assistant to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, inclusive of the check & ACH payment run.

It is essential that the candidate is a self-motivated individual with strong communication skills and the ability to maintain interpersonal relationships.

We are seeking a candidate with attention to detail; an ability to work independently, adhere to policy requirements, and maintain ongoing contact with various departments within the organization.

Essential Requirements:

· Associates Degree with at least 2 years of Accounts Payable experience

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· Strong analytical and computer skills. Proficiency in MS Office.

· Must be a self-starter with the ability to complete job responsibilities with minimal assistance.

· Able to work in team environment and must be comfortable working in a result oriented environment requiring overtime (on an as needed basis) and the meeting of fixed deadlines.
