Accounts Payable Clerk Job at Community Investment Group, LLC
We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to perform a variety of tasks and support our CFO.
An opportunity exists to work in Chesapeake, VA.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately post vendor invoices to accounting system in a timely manner.
- Receive, review, and verify the accuracy of approvals for payment of invoices.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.
- Reconcile Vendor Statements.
- Scan and manage documents in a document management system.
- Maintain vendor files and documentation to be complete and compliant with the policy of the company as well as GAAP.
- Monthly reconciliation of accounts payable.
- Assist in month/year end closing.
- Give supports to other projects when necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 years of previous accounts payable experience is required.
- Attention to detail is absolutely necessary.
- Able to handle large volumes of work accurately and quickly.
- Positive attitude and enjoy working as part of a team.
