Accounting Specialist Job Responsibilities:
- Track and make sure we receive payments from all invoices sent in order to complete collections through phone calls of customers/vendors.
- Interface with multiple departments regarding orders, purchase orders (PO’s), and Government PO’s (GPO’s).
- Create Invoices to send to our PO customers.
- Supports accounting operations by filing documents, reconciling statements, and running software programs.
- Maintains accounting records by making copies and filing documents.
- Maintains database by entering information and communications into our online PO and order database.
- Verifies GPO customers have received their product(s) and bills them accordingly.
- Accomplishes accounting and Rehabmart’s mission by completing related tasks as needed.
Accounting Specialist Qualifications/Skills:
- Familiarity with Quickbooks Pro Accounting Software
- Proficiency in office based products such as Word, Excel, Google, Drive.
- Reporting skills and data entry and computer skills required.
- Strong phone ettiqute and comfort talking with custmers/vendors regarding outstanding invoices/POs.
- Proficient with using an adding machine as well as home key style of typing.
- Organized, attention to detail, productive, and dependable.
Education and Experience:
- Associates degree in a related discipline is an asset.
- Previous accounting experience preferred.

Hourly compensation is negotiable and is dependent upon experience, education, and skillsets.
