This Accounting Clerk I position is in the Division of Air Quality Business Office. Responsibilities include a broad range of departmental accounting functions in the following areas: accounts payable, accounts receivable, processing employee travel authorization and employee travel reimbursements, and reconciling Procurement Card transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Auditing and Processing both matching and direct pay invoices daily to include assigning expenditure accounts and funding sources
• Process employee travel authorization and employee travel reimbursements
• Reconcile Procurement Card Transactions
• Assist with generating and mailing monthly annual fees invoices and preparing the daily deposit for the Division

The Division of Air Quality:
The Division of Air Quality (DAQ) works with the State’s citizens to protect and improve outdoor (ambient) air quality in North Carolina for the health, benefit and economic well-being of all.
