POSITION SUMMARY
The Accounting and Audit Specialist position will provide diverse administrative duties as well as perform accounting tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounting transactions. In addition, this position will provide accounting support for dealer billings, reconciliation of store deposits, and audit specific stores’ information.
Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employees may perform other duties to meet the ongoing needs of the department and/or organization. Duties within the department may also change to ensure business needs are met on an ongoing basis.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Administer the accounts payable process for multiple vendors on a weekly, biweekly, and monthly basis
• Assist with processing forms in the paperless software for Accounts Payable
• Assist with running the paperless document software daily to sort unidentified documents (Quickfields)
• Assist with invoice and import issues
• All facets of dealer billing on a daily basis
• Electronic Fund Transfers for dealers on a weekly basis
• Reconcile bank deposits made by store management
• Clean-up of non-matched postings on bank accounts
• Audit store information
• Support reception area as needed
• Responsibility as a backup for various positions
• Complete special projects as requested by Management/Executive team

QUALIFICATIONS:

• General accounting experience
• Advanced computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to troubleshoot in different types of software
• High level of integrity and professionalism
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Excellent analytical, reasoning ,and communication skills
• Strong expertise related to organization, time management, and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure while completing tasks in full
• Willingness to perform additional responsibilities
• Team player with the ability to adapt to change with a focus on continuous improvement

• Ability to travel short and long distances
• Ability to communicate through written and verbal practices
• Ability to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time
• Continuous manual dexterity
• Lifting requirements include lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds on occasion
• Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
• Sufficient visual acuity
