MUST:
4+years of experience as an Accountant and Financial Reporting experience
Recent commercial side experience or experience in a healthcare facility
Month end close experience
General Ledger and coding experience
Creating financial reports
Handling disbursements
Preparing budgets and financial schedules
CPA preferred
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
DUTIES:
The duties of the Accountant include but are not limited to the following:
Perform accounting functions
Handle month-end close as well as financial reporting
Maintain general ledger
Prepare financial schedules
Write journal entries
Maintain cash schedules
Handle disbursements
Process monthly close
Ensure accruals are made each month
Review General Ledger coding on invoices prior to release of checks
Ensure accuracy of balance sheets and reconcile
Submit reporting packages to Controller for review
Provide support with preparing annual budgets
