Overview:
FleishmanHillard Atlanta is seeking a curious and dynamic communications professional with a passion for storytelling to join our Social + Innovation team. The ideal Account Supervisor candidate will be capable of envisioning, leading and incorporating social strategies into larger integrated programs for clients across healthcare, technology and consumer brands. Our new team member will develop editorial processes and content calendars, manage executive thought leadership programs, and support day-to-day account management and client communications.

Responsibilities:
  • Play a pivotal role in handling many of the day-to-day activities for the social media practice’s account teams
  • Create and execute content strategy to engage audiences and achieve client business objectives
  • Ensure appropriate messaging and manage editorial calendar planning process
  • Generate new ideas to engage and grow vibrant, healthy communities on social channels
  • Support executive thought leadership programs, developing original content and identifying proactive engagement opportunities
  • Help manage social media channels and communities
  • Research social communities and trends; stay abreast of industry news and implications for social media.
  • Use social media software tools to assist with calendaring and publishing
  • Use insights, metrics and analytics tools to generate data-based insights to weave into the strategy process.
  • Interface with clients regularly and be adept at anticipating client needs
  • Conduct research and compile POVs on social issues, trends and topics, as needed
  • Participate in and contribute ideas to planning meetings and brainstorms
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Cultivate diverse teams and contribute to an inclusive working and learning environment.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience; previous social media experience at an agency and/or in-house/marketing is a must.
  • Passionate about storytelling, communications and creating engaging experiences.
  • Demonstrated hands-on social media execution (community management, strategy and content development, blog outreach, SEO, paid social executions) across all platforms and communication channels, including but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, especially in creating content and managing social channels for brands on a regular basis. The ideal candidate will translate business and marketing objectives into creative and compelling copy.
  • Ability to absorb a high volume of information and be comfortable with providing quick counsel on editorial/response recommendations to clients.
  • Possesses a passion for social media and speaking on behalf of a brand.
  • Experience with social media monitoring tools (ie: TalkWalker).
  • Experience with social media management systems/platforms is preferred (i.e., Sprinklr, Spredfast, Percolate, Hootsuite).
  • Ability to show personality along with patience and a sense of humor.
  • Willingness to step up and be on, when necessary, even after others are off (…since social media doesn’t stop).
  • Energetic self-starter who has a sense of responsibility and the ability to work with a team or independently.
