Position Overview:
The Bliss Group is growing and looking to hire an Account Supervisor or Account Director to collaborate and lead on a mix of accounts in our Financial Services and Professional Services and Impact practices.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Serve as day-to-day support for select clients, managing both strategy and execution
- Develop media relations strategies, goals, media targets, pitch angles
- Pitch the media
- Leverage stellar writing/editing skills to develop and edit content (pitches, bylined articles, blog posts, infographics, white papers, external marketing collateral, and other press materials)
- Serve as information leader on client teams, demonstrating industry or media-driven knowledge that directly and indirectly affects the client
- Assist in the development of long-term client plans, program recommendations, and developing budgets
- Design proprietary thought leadership surveys, tease out storylines, and partner to create related assets from press releases, to executive summaries and infographics
- Route articles of interest to account teams and client
- Manage reporting mechanisms for client and account team
- Aid in the research, development and/or pitching of new business proposals
- Participate with senior team leaders in or lead client presentations
- Coach/mentor junior staff and review their work

Qualifications: *
- 4-6+ years of relevant public relations and/or integrated marketing experience
- Understanding of financial markets, institutional investor priorities, impact investing and/or ESG disclosure rules is required
- Strong media relations skills/experience and established relationships within financial services and/or professional services
- Exceptional writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Experience managing accounts and developing strong client relationships
- Understanding of integrated PESO marketing strategies
- Able to grasp and explain complex concepts to a variety of audiences
- Flexible approach; able to change priorities against changing client and team needs
- Thrives in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, and client-service driven environment
- Works effectively within a team, demonstrating coordination, collaboration, communication and problem-solving
- Possesses intellectual curiosity, a passion for learning
Work Location: This position will be based in our NYC, NJ of Austin office working a hybrid schedule or can be remote if not close to our offices.
Salary Range: 85K-135K annually
**Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A discretionary bonus and Profit-Sharing Plan, (for VP+ roles), may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered
