Job Summary:
Throughout the years, Nielson, Hoover & Company, an Acrisure Agency Partner. has developed a deep understanding of the construction industry. This knowledge allows us to provide superior services and comprehensive solutions to minimize the risks inherent of the construction industry. We have the capacity and experience it takes to support the largest national contractors and the hometown knowledge and personal service to ensure mid to small size contractors receive the same attention to detail.
We are currently looking to add our team with an exciting opportunity as an Account Manager/Surety. This position will assist customer in identifying and providing for their bond needs. In addition to working directly with the client, Account Executive, and carrier representatives in handling the execution and billing of bonds for our clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interacts with clients in responding to their bond specific needs, i.e., contract documents, bond forms, rating and billing questions, etc.
- Interacts with surety company representatives in handling transactional related information/issues
- In the administration of the bond programs of our clients, i.e., premium billings, rating issues, contract documents, bond forms, bid results, etc.
- Prepares client-specific documents
- Processes billing transactions
- Works within the agency management system's electronic file management specific to our surety clients, i.e., lnsureVision and Applied
- Coordinate’s client service with Account Executive
- Continues to pursue professional development as applicable

Education and/or Experience:
- College Degree or the recognized equivalent in education and experience, preferred
- 440 insurance license, required
- Brokerage experience or knowledge of surety products preferred.
Technology Skills:
- Applied Epic or similar agency management software experience, preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Other Qualifications:
- Able to work independently and enjoy a high degree of interaction with team members
- Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication, including the ability actively listen, and problem solve with minimal assistance
- Demonstrates excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to a high level of accuracy
- The ability to multitask, prioritize, work independently, and use discretion surrounding sensitive information
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude
