General Job Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Full-Time, In-office Position
- Required hours 8:30-4:30pm M-TH, 8:30-2:30pm Fridays (38 hrs)
- PA Health & Life Licenses Required
- Industry Experience:
- 2+ years of health insurance account management preferred
- Experience handling book-of-business for clients of varying sizes (2-200+)
General Tasks Required:
- Answering phones and assisting clients with questions/needs
- Documenting and processing enrollment/terminations
- Manage the agency’s Benefits Administration System for client use
- Communicating with carriers to provide resolution for billing/claims issues
- Addressing carrier and industry compliance questions
- Completing renewal process needs of Sales Team: Quoting and/or carrier quote request forms; Complete client spreadsheet comparisons; Prepping, collecting and processing new business paperwork; Internal documentation of in-force/cancelling policies
- Assist other agency Account Specialists with the above and servicing troubleshooting
