General Job Requirements & Responsibilities:

  • Full-Time, In-office Position
  • Required hours 8:30-4:30pm M-TH, 8:30-2:30pm Fridays (38 hrs)
  • PA Health & Life Licenses Required
  • Industry Experience:
  • 2+ years of health insurance account management preferred
  • Experience handling book-of-business for clients of varying sizes (2-200+)

General Tasks Required:

  • Answering phones and assisting clients with questions/needs
  • Documenting and processing enrollment/terminations
  • Manage the agency’s Benefits Administration System for client use
  • Communicating with carriers to provide resolution for billing/claims issues
  • Addressing carrier and industry compliance questions
  • Completing renewal process needs of Sales Team: Quoting and/or carrier quote request forms; Complete client spreadsheet comparisons; Prepping, collecting and processing new business paperwork; Internal documentation of in-force/cancelling policies
  • Assist other agency Account Specialists with the above and servicing troubleshooting
