- Work the internal matrix with Strategic Accounts, Operations and Customer Service to guide fulfillment activity on behalf of Strategic Customers. Ensure product development projects meet or exceed customer timing expectations. Accountable for developing the interface between technical customer requirements and optimization requests in production.
- Direct and coordinate quoting and proposals. This includes product cost planning (note: more complex quote types will be costed by project engineers), technical specifications and quality-related documents such as work or inspection plans, and capacity plans. Ensure on-going and timely communication to the customer regarding quote status and delivery, meeting internal quote turnaround targets.
- Direct other pricing, engineering change notifications, and customer scorecard review activity.
- Lead issue resolution for the customer. Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve account matters by working with Customer Service, Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Purchasing to understand root cause & resolve. Solve practical problems & deal with a variety of changing situations on a daily basis.
- Engage your local site and other international production facilities to ensure alignment for seamless customer experience
- Manages S&Op and RFC planning for assigned strategic accounts
- Ensure all customer questions and concerns are responded to promptly in alignment with commercial initiatives and company mission.
- Responsible for maintaining customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Attend and occasionally lead project meetings, capture meeting minutes and action items for internal and external customer teams.
- Cultivate and enhance customer relationships; leverage relationships to maintain and grow the business through superior customer support and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with Strategic Accounts and Portfolio Management to enforce strategic sales plans for target accounts and identify growth opportunities, and to perform special assignments as required.
- As required, support Strategic Accounts, Applications Management and Portfolio Managers with pre/post sales activities such as call preparation, proposal and presentation development.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or Marketing
- A minimum of 5 years relevant experience
- Experience in the medical device industry helpful
- Experience on work related to Nitinol and Shape memory applications helpful
- Technically oriented with experience in technical support or sales
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Extremely organized: Able to plan, prioritize, and self-monitor workload, with attention to detail
- Action Oriented: Strong sense of urgency, able to multitask
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
