Reporting to one of our Sr. Managers, Sales, the Ellucian/CampusLogic Account Executive (Specialist) will meet or exceed client retention and cross-sell goals within the assigned territory by promoting and selling the CampusLogic solution set using consultative sales techniques. The Account Executive (Specialist) will develop a complete understanding of each institutions needs as they relate to the CampusLogic suite of products, including each institution's business requirements, internal power structure, incumbent products, price sensitivity, regulatory challenges, etc.


Where you will make an impact

  • Manage CampusLogic solutions client relationships and client retention within the assigned territory and serve as the primary point of contact for sales-related discussions, as well as an escalation point when necessary.
  • Build executive-level relationships across each assigned account to optimize adoption of CL products.
  • Generate new sales opportunities in existing accounts that have licensed one or more CampusLogic solutions.
  • Manage a complex, enterprise solution sale with a 6 month to 18 month purchasing cycle.
  • Manage the renewal process for all subscriptions within assigned accounts, including promoting multi-year renewals where appropriate.
  • Conduct periodic executive business reviews, in conjunction with the assigned Client Success Manager (CSM), with each assigned account to promote effective utilization of licensed products.
  • Build collaborative relationships with other CampusLogic colleagues in Marketing, Client Success, Finance, Engineering and other departments across the organization.

What you will bring

  • Superstar communication skills, responding with ease in 1:1, small group, and larger group settings with customers, employees, and the general public
  • 3+ years of consultative sales experience in enterprise-level software sales. Knowledge of the higher education and enrollment management industry is highly desirable.
  • Successful achievement of $500K+ renewal quotas.
  • Ability to manage a pipeline of 50+ accounts.
  • Proven success prospecting, building a pipeline, moving opportunities through the sales cycle to closure, presenting and discussing solutions with C-level and other decision-makers.

  • Ability to travel periodically, not to exceed 15%, to spend time in the field with prospects and clients.
