DigiPen's Academy's K-12 programs offer exciting learning experiences for students of all ages. Under the encouraging guidance of our talented teaching staff, students learn, create, and collaborate on hands-on projects in video game programming, art and animation, game design, engineering, and music and sound design. Each program is a learning opportunity. By promoting teamwork and personal expression while reinforcing core academic subjects like math, physics, art, and writing, students learn valuable lifelong skills in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math).
Located in Redmond, Washington, DigiPen Institute of Technology is a small college offering undergraduate degree programs in Computer Science, Game Design, Digital Audio and Music, Computer Engineering, and Digital Art and Animation, as well as Master’s degree programs in Computer Science and Digital Art. In addition, DigiPen Academy provides a pathway for students to prepare for jobs or further education in these high-demand tech fields by providing preparatory experiences for students of all ages.
We are looking for an energetic, experienced Coordinator to join our team! The Academic Programs Coordinator will provide administrative support to our academic school year programs. As part of our team, you will answer emails, monitor attendance, track registrations, organize field trips, help maintain supplies, and support our instructors. This full-time position is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to work with kids and their families and is ideal for a self-starter who embraces challenges.
POSITION: Academic Programs Coordinator
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of experience in youth program development or education
- Previous experience working in customer service or other client-facing roles
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment and adapts to changing needs and priorities
- Available to work rotational evenings and weekends for events and outreach programs throughout the year
- Technical proficiency in MS Office and Excel
- Reliable transportation
Preferred Skills/Competencies
- Prior knowledge and experience with topics related to interactive technology
- Operational or instructional work experience in K-12 educational settings, including classes, workshops, and camps
- Experience working with a CRM
Salary and Benefits
Starting salary is $19.95 to $21.16 per hour, depending on experience.

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some stooping, kneeling, and/or crouching; and significant fine finger dexterity. You may need to lift to 25 lbs. Generally, the job requires a combination of standing, sitting, and walking.
