A day in the life.

• As our Mid-Market Account Manager on the Absence Disability and Life team, you’ll support the unique absence and disability management needs of middle market employers and provide expertise and training to support the account management team relating to current market trends in absence and disability management including market applicability and availability.

Our future colleague.

We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

• Supporting account teams and their clients on either an ad hoc or ongoing basis relating to their absence management strategy, including paid leave policies, statutory plans, competitive plan design, and local, state, and federal leave laws.

• Helping customize client specific Request for Proposals (RFP), distributing to the market, analyzing responses, and preparing proposal summaries for the client.

• Responding to inquiries from account teams regarding disability and life programs, and changing local, state, and federal leave legislation.

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

• A minimum of five years of experience in absence management; consulting, account management, and/or claims operations is preferred.

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $ $117,700 to $188,300. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
