Immediate start! Afternoon position in home setting in the Upper West Side and Bronx, NY.

Behaviors of NYC provides 1 to 1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services throughout New York City, in the home, community, and school settings. We offer: assessments, skill acquisition training, social skills training, behavior management, conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), implementing behavior plans, community training, pre-vocational training, parent training and ongoing staff training and supervision.

Our mission is to work with each child and his or her family members to create the best possible outcome for everyone.We are looking for caring, passionate, and dedicated professional ABA therapists to provide 1 to 1 ABA services for children of all ages with Autism, under the guidance of a BCBA.

Job Responsibilities:
-Provide in-school Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy under the supervision of a BCBA
-Social skills and life skills training under the supervision of a BCBA
-Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions
-Implement behavior plans and follow through with behavior management procedures under the supervision of a BCBA
-Use behavior management techniques to help decrease maladaptive behaviors and increase the development of positive social and life skills
-Ability to work closely with children with special needs and autism of all ages
-Comfortable communicating with family or caregivers and supervisors
-Attend Professional Development Trainings, as required
-Work collaboratively with a BCBA supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy
-Be goal-oriented and maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work

-Arrive on time and prepared for therapy sessions
-Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, around the needs of the client
-Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
-A minimum of six months experience with ABA therapy, working with children with Autism

*A valid driver's license and proof of car insurance with a good driving record is preferred*
