Position Summary
The Recruitment Coordinator and Learner Success Coach within the Office of Engagement and Extension at Colorado State University reports to the Manager of Recruitment for the Office of Engagement and Extension (OEE). The Recruitment Coordinator serves as a coach to prospective students and learners and manages a portfolio of programs. This position is responsible for supporting prospective students and learners from inquiry through application decision making. The Recruitment Coordinator and Learner Success Coach supports innovative thinking and approaches to lifelong learning across CSU and OEE enterprises and educational offerings.
This position supports the recruitment team with call and email campaigns, task management, and other areas as needed. The Coordinator creates, organizes, and maintains recruitment resources and supports onboarding, training, and events. The Coordinator works within the OEE Recruitment and Events Team, and partners with team members to understand the overall strategy, outreach, and recruitment of prospective learners and partners.

Required Job Qualifications
  • Completed bachelor’s degree or earned bachelor’s degree within one year of hire.
  • Familiarity with customer service, sales, or recruitment environments.
  • Experience communicating in professional setting with customers or students over the phone and through email.
  • Experience applying software or using databases (CRM) to manage multiple contacts using different channels of communication.
  • Strong desire to learn, be coached, and grow as a professional.
  • Experience managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain a driver’s license by the employment start date.

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects, prioritize work, and respond effectively to change
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team to affect change and achieve desired outcomes

Duty/Responsibility
  • Manage a portfolio of educational programs which includes fostering relationships with faculty, tracking pipeline data, and supporting prospective learners and students from inquiry through application decision
  • Coach prospective learners and students by phone, email, and meetings to support the discovery of their goals and interests and provide information on a broad set of learning offerings across CSU and OEE to meet learner needs
  • Provide accurate and expert information on program details, admissions requirements, application process, and learning formats and modalities
  • Maintain up to date contact information and document all interaction history in CRM
  • Provide support to applicants throughout process including calling prospects with incomplete applications and following up on missing materials
  • Ensure that recruitment tasks, cases, emails, voicemails, and applicants are responded to in a timely manner across the team
  • Track, measure, and report on recruitment efforts across prospective learner and student life cycle, using CRM (Salesforce)
  • Provide information and respond to prospective learners and students about OEE learning opportunities

  • Schedule and support planning of team building activities to foster relationships and cross-team collaboration.
